To make a difference, we need to make a change. Medical marijuana and industrial hemp are revolutionizing the world, along with benefitting our ecosystem. Hemp based construction material is stronger, lighter, and more durable than wood. Hemp clothing is more durable and cost effective than cotton and uses half as much water. CBD and other isolates provide pain relief and reduce seizures. Nothing goes to waste, the seed, flower, leaf, and stem can be turned into over 25,000 products. All of these products are 100% biodegradable and can help reduce the amount of plastic hurting our environment and wildlife. One acre of hemp produces more oxygen than twenty-five acres of forest and it takes in large amounts of carbon dioxide, reducing global warming. Our Goal
StokkersUSA wants to use hemp to make a difference in construction and manufacturing. Hemp can be used to make hundreds of biodegradable products that can replace the use of plastic, reducing pollution in the process. Hemp can also be used in construction by being turned into hempcrete to cut down on construction waste and be energy efficient.
Construction & Hempcrete
Hempcrete is made from mixing the hemp hurd (the hard stalk) with lime and water and it weighs only about an eighth of regular concrete. Hempcrete can cut down on construction waste and its light weight can help in reducing emissions that come from transporting heavy materials.
Though hempcrete can’t be used for structural purposes, it can replace non-structural elements and can be used in place of materials such as drywall and plaster. Compared to concrete, it is superior in its thermal properties and can handle extreme temperature changes, making it energy efficient.
Hempcrete is durable and renewable, a new solution to housing and commercial building.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimates that more than 23 million tons of concrete debris was created during construction in 2015.
Drywall and plaster account for about 8 percent of building construction debris.
